We believe our 'on-line only' packages are really the way forward for most of our customers in science-engineering libraries. It helps libraries which have budget issues, but still want to maximise the range of information they can offer their researchers. It makes sense as some departments now have so many researchers that access to a single print subscription is practically impossible for most of them; and of course, 'on-line only' means no more claims - ever!

• All journals are hosted on Ingenta, a stable, easy-to-use platform most academic libraries are familiar with
• free specimen copies of journals can be seen at www.ingentaconnect.com/content/mscp
• editorial detail about the journals is at www.multi-science.co.uk
• all journals are included in Cross Ref. which leverages their value
• the annual fee entitles the subscriber to access not only to the current year but also all issues on-line, in some cases going back as far as 1999
• in the event of non-renewal, the client retains access to what has been paid for - including the back issues
