The International Journal of Innovation Science is an international peer-reviewed journal that publishes fundamental and applied research in innovation practices. The IJIS is a forum for the exchange of advanced knowledge in innovation, including emerging technologies and best practices, tools and techniques, metrics, and organization design and culture; as well as the stakeholder engagement, change management, and leadership skills required to ensure innovation succeeds.
Authors are encouraged to submit papers based on research; state of the art practice; and conceptual and theoretical developments and designs.
The IJIS is dedicated to the premise that in a global, mobile and digital economy that is changing with exponential speed, innovation is critical to solving the world’s important problems.

The Nordic Countries have been recognized as innovators for several decades; however, to better understand, recognize, and spread their contribution the International Journal of Innovation Science Halmstad University are created a special issue on Innovation in Nordic countries (innovationsvetenskap).
The journal welcomes papers from all disciplines; however, papers related to the common theme for submissions for this special issue is "Recreating an Innovation Advantage: How the Nordic Countries Can Regain Momentum from the BRICs" will be preferred. All articles submitted should reflect on this topic.
Teaching Innovation and class materials for innovation including:
- Regional or National economic development/policies related to innovation
- Innovation competency, innovation skills
- Innovation conventions, competitions, or Training
- Innovation for entrepreneurs
- Reagions impact on innovation
- Growing innovation through university programs
- Attracting Inovative companies and Entrepreneurs
Instructions for Authors
The deadline to submit full research paper is November 1st 2012. A selection of 8-10 best articles
will be made and the issue to be published in the March 2013, other qualified articles may be published
in future issue so submission are very welcome now or in the future. Articles should be submitted directly
to the Editors for this special issue who are Mike Danilovic and Klaus Solberg Söilen.
Format
You will need to indicate your intention to submit your full paper by email to the special issue
editor(s) with the title of the paper, authors, and abstract (max 500 words). The full manuscript
(Word document) may also be submitted to the editor(s) instead of the abstract by the deadline indicated
below. All submitted manuscripts must be placed in the journals template for acceptance Download Template

As submission are put through the review process the sooner they are submitted the sooner a decision on publication can be made
